New Product Release from Origin: OB-49 Slimline Bifolds
At Your Price Windows, each part of our expert team comes together to ensure we provide the highest quality service. For this next project, the Your Price Windows Sales team were installing new slimline doors at our trade and public showroom in Mitcham, South London.
The Project – New OB-49 Origin Doors for Our Showroom
We enjoy showing our customers what our window and door collections can look like in reality. Our Mitcham showroom helps us do just that, displaying some of our most popular products in the space itself so that you can easily see how they appear and function.
The OB-49 is the latest offering from Origin doors in their aluminium bifold range. A step up from the industry-renowned OB-72, this bifolding door has sightlines of just 49mm, delivering their most slimline frame. This means more glass on show, achieving beautiful panoramic views of your outdoor spaces. Customise the look with a wide range of colours and coordinated premium stainless steel handles.
The doors come with approval, including 3-star Diamond, BS Kitemark locking barrels, protecting against bumping, drilling, picking and snapping. Origin exceeds Building Regulation standards for thermal efficiency, with the OB-49 boasting a 1.2 u-value.
The Results – A Timely, Out of Hours Door Installation
The bifold installation was planned for a Sunday to avoid any disruption to the working week. As efficiency was key, the doors had to be ready for the normal working week to commence, so our installation team had a very small window (excuse the pun) to remove and fit the new Origin bifold doors to be ready for customers to visit the showroom.
Having completed the first part of the work on the Saturday, the new Origin OB-49 bifold doors, glass and trim were ready in the showroom for installation on the Sunday morning. The job was completed in a timely manner, ensuring another new product was on display in our ever-evolving showroom.
