The Project – Completing a Refurbishment
Back in April, this homeowner was nearing completion on their refurbishment project, asking us to help with the supply and installation of a number of products. This included new windows, bifolding doors and rooflights.
Our client had a list of requirements which needed fulfilling and wanted a high end finish. The windows would need to match the bifolds both inside and out, but this was a challenge as the products would be coming from different manufacturers. Luckily, our specialists are able to tailor orders to custom specifications, choosing exact shades for products.
The Results – High End Look for a Wallington Home
The matching bifolds and windows created a uniform look while updating the appearance of the property in Wallington. Choosing dual colours allows for a different look inside and out, with our client selecting Irish oak for the external frames and white for the interior. When installing the bay windows, we aligned astragal bars, an alternative to Georgian bar windows, from the top windows to the ground floor, ensuring a polished final look.
Their bifold door blinds had a six week lead time, so to keep the refurbishment on track, our team installed a temporary solution, fitting boards so that the decorators and plasterers could continue.
What did our customer think? Our homeowner was extremely pleased with the results and asked us to return to install windows and bifolds in their bar and pool room. A complete success!
